    Missouri Model RR Museum Tour

    We are back at the Missouri Model Railroad Museum to check on progress from last years “Tape on the floor” and “draft” plan. Dale Shipman will share the progress, journey and give us a first-hand tour. I have heard from several people that the progress is well worth the return visit. Remember, last year I said you have a chance to see something awesome created here in Kansas City. Don’t miss this update visit.

    Clinic: Harvey Girls

    Karen Meredith will share history, stories, and anecdotes of Fred Harvey and the infamous Harvey Houses and Harvey Girls. Karen is part of a group through the Sante Fe that has made many presentations to keep the memory alive
    and learn more of the history and impact on the Sante Fe travelers, our culture and even the “fast food restaurants we know today. My thanks to Karen for sharing her knowledge with our meeting.

    Clinic Topic: Signaling for Model RRs: The Basics

    Bill Scheerer has a career that reads as a Who’s Who in signaling. Bill Retired as Chief Engineer supporting Global Signaling and Train Management Systems. Even after being retired, he is active as a member of AREMA Technical Committee and Secretary Treasurer Eastern Signal Engineers. In my mind, this makes this clinic a must see from someone who lived it and helps us bring it to life for our Model Railroads. Even if you’ve seen it before, these are the clinics you always catch something new or understand something better the second time. I, for one, am really looking forward to it.
